Beauty Bag: Liz from Wallpaper

I've decided to start a new bi-weekly series on WALLPAPER called  "Beauty Bag" which will feature some of my favourite bloggers's own makeup bags including a list of products they use and of course the one product they can't live without.

I've always been fascinated by what women have in their makeup bags or what their beauty routines are and I think that it would be fun to get a sneak peek inside their beauty bags. Plus, I love when I hear a great review or I get a makeup suggestion from someone that I know has used and loved a product... so let's all share our beauty bags and favourite beauty finds!

If anyone out in the blog world would like to participate in this new series please send me an email.

I've decided to start out the series with my own makeup bag:

Makeup
1.SEPHORA BY O.P.I in metro chic- this is a great fall colour
2.DIOR show mascara in black-highly recommend for that full lash
3.NARS multiple in South beach-bought this on a recommendation and I love it!
4.ESTEE LAUDER high gloss in Amethyst
5.SHADY LADY shadow in Caught in the act courtney-awesome eye shadow with a bit of glitter
6.ANNABELLE Kohl liner in Charcoal
7. MAC blush in Pinch me- gives the cheeks a nice flush
8.MAC sheer pressed powder in NC35

Makeup tools:
1. MAC blush brush #129
2.MAC Kabuki brush #182- I use this to put on my pressed powder
3.QUO eyebrow brush
4.SHU UEMURA eyelash curler- great lash curls
5.ESTEE LAUDER makeup bag

One beauty product I can't live without:
it's a toss up between my Quo eyebrow brush and lipgloss (any brand)
(what can I say I have unruly brows!)

Soft Grey

My little desk nook all decked out in soft grey... a new sweater, my trusted hobo bag and lots of new books.

American Envy...

I envy my fellow American bloggers who have such great shops in the US at such great price points! I wish we had a Target or at least a Z Gallerie... oh well I guess I will just have to dream! Here are a few of my favourites from Z Gallerie, please excuse me while I go cry...

What I Like: P.s. - I made this...

I was online browsing the newest products over at Urban Outfitters when I came across this book titled P.S.- I made this...

and after going on a search for author Erica Domesek I came across her awesome website that features all things that she of course...what else...hand makes! I quickly added the book to my shopping cart and then browsed through Erica's site to read about all of the great things this girl does to reuse and reinvent everything from fashion to home decor.

Here is a fav of mine:

Too Soon?

Is it too soon to talk Halloween? In my house I've already started my internet search for some inspiration photos, and I can't wait to share all the great decor ideas I've found with you guys tomorrow so please stay tuned.

While this year I am sitting out of the party hosting duties (you can see the party I hosted last year here and here) I am going to attend a Halloween party and so I will need a costume. In all the years I've been getting dressed up, I have always made my own costumes and I will only buy pieces that I am not able to make. I am afterall a DIY girl at heart!

So here are just the first few inspiration photos to get me started on my own costume...I will be a black swan ballerina this year :

I also have a killer pair of false feather lashes I can't wait to use!

And please tell me have any of you started saving and storing inspiration photos for Halloween yet? Or maybe you even starting buying decorations and costumes, I'd love to hear all about it!
